Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

 Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on business requirements.

 Understand and analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and translate them into effective test scenarios.

 Perform UI, API, and database testing (preferably with MongoDB).

 Identify, log, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

 Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

 Utilize automation tools (any tool knowledge is acceptable) to aid testing processes as needed.

 Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.

 Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

 Work independently with minimal supervision while being available during US Eastern Time Zone morning hours.

Unique Knowledge & Skill Requirement

 Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance

 Strong expertise in manual testing.

 Should have good knowledge of Agile Methodologies.

 Can understand business requirements and translate them into thorough test scenarios.

 Thinks critically to identify edge cases and potential failure points.

 Good knowledge of automation and familiarity with any automation tool- Not framework-level knowledge required.

 Excellent communication skills

 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 Solid experience in API testing, database testing (preferably MongoDB), and UI testing

Education Experience (years)

Engineering Graduate or equivalent

7+ Years’ experience
