Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our UW Treaty team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by maturing the QA gating criteria, process adherence, validations, and ensuring there are sufficient and sustainable levels of automation in the end-to-end QA process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, great problem -solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on various software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide feedback on potential risks and issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality and testability aspects of the code.
- Validating and maturing our QA strategy and continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality of the software products.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Skills:
- 10+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG etc).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-starter with a positive approach, who can manage their own workload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Worked in an Azure DevOps pipelines environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
