Senior Fashion Designer

We are seeking a Fashion Design Head to lead the technical design process for the Garment Manufacturing unit, overseeing the creation of innovative, market-driven apparel collections. This role involves managing a team of designers and ensuring alignment of customer preferences, and production capabilities. Job Title: Fashion Designer Head Qualification: Graduation and Industrial Professional Skill Experience: 4 - 8 years for the said filled CTC: up to 50,000 Location: Regent Garment and Apparel Park, Barasat, Kolkata – 700124 Job Description Team Management: Lead and mentor the design team, including designers, pattern makers, and CAD operators. Allocate tasks, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Design Execution: Oversee the translation of design concepts into technical drawings and specifications. Collaborate with pattern makers and sample development teams to ensure accurate execution of designs. Approve prototypes and samples before moving to bulk production. Fabric and Material Selection: Collaborate with the sourcing team to select appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories for designs. Ensure material choices align with design intent, production feasibility, and cost parameters. Collaboration with Production: Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective for manufacturing. Resolve design-related issues during the production process to maintain quality and timelines. Ensure designs are optimized for scalability and efficiency in production. Quality Assurance: Maintain high design standards and ensure that the final product meets aesthetic, fit, and functional requirements. Implement quality checks throughout the design and development process.
