Job Description:
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to our clients and internal team. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
The Desktop Technical Support will oversee the technical support tickets, their SLAs, asset management, service operations and functions in the organization. Ultimately, you will ensure prompt and accurate in closing all TechOps tickets on daily basis. At least 03 years of experience in similar role will be preferred.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for providing IT assistance to include application support, hardware and software installation and troubleshooting
· Adhering to resolution time & SLAs
· Troubleshoot problems with Laptop Hardware, Application, printer and OS
· Configuration of devices attached to laptops (PDA)
· Skills to provide Remote support on Phone or through tool
· Skill to communicate Microsoft or other Service Provider Tech Support
· Should handle installation and configuration of Antivirus Software on all the Desktops and Update of Anti-Virus patches.
· Proficient with or able to quickly learn the software and applications used in the organization and the industry.
· Perform system software and hardware maintenance, evaluate, test and integrate upgrades to operating systems, support software and applications
Requirements/Skills:
· Sound experience of L-1 Support for desktop trouble shooting, installation, upgrades and managing assets of company
· Hands on experience of Microsoft office 365 user management
· Installing, setup, configuration of Microsoft office suits, outlook, Antivirus, EPS and DLPs
· Relevant experience in handling customer service, Ticketing, SLAs
· Expertise in implementation, support, administration and management of Windows NT/2000/XP workstations and/or Linux servers.
· Cisco –Firewall,Switches,Routers Basic Hands on experience.
· Intermediate knowledge on Azure Cloud
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
