At Simple Education Foundation (SEF) we work with the government to build state-wide strengthening programs for teachers and principals to increase the standard of teaching in government schools across India. Our mission is to strengthen 1 million educators by 2028.

About the role
As a Senior Associate \u2013 M&E and Government Partnerships, you will play a critical dual role: -
Strengthening system partnerships by building strong relationships with government stakeholders at the state, district, and block levels.

Driving data-informed decision-making by leading robust M&E processes that track program progress, measure outcomes, and generate actionable insights.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and technical data skills , along with the ability to translate complex evidence into simple, actionable insights for both internal and government partners

What will you do?

Government Stakeholder Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with state, district, and block-level officials by providing regular progress updates, facilitating joint planning sessions, and aligning on priorities to drive the adoption of innovative practices.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL): Design and implement MEL strategies with clear indicators, data collection tools, and success benchmarks, ensuring robust systems are in place to capture accurate data and generate actionable insights for program improvement.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to create dashboards, briefs, and presentations that translate evidence into simple, actionable insights for decision-makers and government partners, ensuring timely and accurate reporting as per agreed protocols.

Field Engagement: Conduct regular field visits across districts to validate data quality, understand stakeholder realities, and gather authentic feedback that informs the refinement of data systems and program interventions.

Collaboration & Communication: Act as a bridge between SEF\u2019s internal teams and government stakeholders by ensuring smooth coordination for joint reviews, training sessions, and school visits while promoting trust-based, solution-oriented engagement.

Data & Analytics Expertise: Strong command of quantitative and qualitative analysis, Excel/Google Sheets, dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).

Experience
-
3\u20135 years of professional experience, preferably in monitoring and evaluation, data analytics, or government partnerships within the education or social impact sector.

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing MEL strategies and managing data systems.

Proven track record of managing relationships with senior government officials and facilitating joint initiatives.

Hands-on experience in translating data into insights through reports, dashboards, and presentations for non-technical audiences.

Prior experience conducting field visits and capturing ground-level data is strongly preferred.
Benefits Salary and benefits
Compensation for Sr. Associate will be Rs 6,50,000 to Rs 7,00,000 (non-negotiable).
Compensation for the Manager will be Rs 7,50,000 to 8,50,000 (non-negotiable)
