Roles and Responsibilities:

You will:

• Provide assistance to the faculty in their ongoing research work which includes literature review, performing analysis, reading proofs, and running simulations on platforms such as Matlab and Mathematica.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Skills:

• Must be adept in Mathematics and in particular comfortable with Real Analysis, e.g., the book “Principles of Mathematical Analysis” by Walter Rudin.
• Strong motivation to pursue a career in research in Economics/Management (please explain in your cover letter).
• Proficiency in Matlab and/or Mathematica.
• Motivation to learn and a strong work ethic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to every detail.
• Strong team player with cross-functional skills.

Qualifications:

• Must have Bachelors/Masters degree in a mathematical discipline (Math/Physics/Engineering/Economics) with some exposure to Economics.
