Job Description

Position: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Company: Herbal Pharma (Ayurvedic Division)
Segments: Human & Veterinary (Animal Health)
Open Headquarters: Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan & South India

Job Description:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and team performance across the assigned region. This individual should be self-motivated, highly disciplined, and capable of independently managing operations with a strong sense of responsibility toward the company. The RSM must enforce a strict and performance-driven culture among the field team, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Managers (TMs), and Field Executives across assigned states.
  • Develop and execute regional business plans in line with organizational goals.
  • Ensure strict discipline, field productivity, and accountability among field staff.
  • Monitor secondary and primary sales regularly and take corrective actions where needed.
  • Build strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key clients in both human and veterinary segments.
  • Regularly review market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Train and motivate team members to improve performance and product knowledge.
  • Ensure proper reporting, documentation, and data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualities:

  • Proven experience in Herbal / Ayurvedic Pharma Sales (Human & Veterinary segments preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Excellent knowledge of regional markets and field operations.
  • Strong discipline and result-oriented approach.
  • Capable of thinking from the company’s perspective and acting in its best interest.
  • Efficient in planning, forecasting, and achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to travel extensively across the assigned regions.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
