1. Rebar Detailer – 2D Detailing (RebarCAD/SofiCAD)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D rebar detailing drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and placing drawings using RebarCAD or SofiCAD.
• Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings for rebar detailing.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, industry codes, and client standards.
• Review and correct shop drawings based on redlines or quality check feedback.
• Deliver accurate and timely outputs in line with project timelines.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in 2D rebar detailing using RebarCAD or SofiCAD.
• Strong understanding of reinforcement standards (US,UK,Europe).
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

2. RebarCAD/SofiCAD Trainer (Internal Technical Trainer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct structured training sessions for new joiners and junior detailers on RebarCAD or SofiCAD software.
• Develop training modules, manuals, and best practice guides for rebar detailing processes.
• Offer technical support and mentoring to the detailing team on software usage and productivity improvement.
• Assess trainees’ performance and provide continuous learning support.
• Stay updated on software updates and new industry standards, incorporating them into training content.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in rebar detailing, with deep expertise in RebarCAD or SofiCAD.
• Prior experience in training or mentoring team members is preferred.
• Familiarity with codes and standards (US,UK,Europe).
• Passion for teaching, guiding, and building technical capabilities within the team.

Preferred Qualifications for Both Roles:

• Civil engineering background (B.E/B.Tech).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Flexibility to relocate or work from Chennai, Thiruchengode, or Kerala based on business needs.
