Quality Engineer

Water Supply, STP, and WTP projects

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plans at the project site.
• Conduct inspection and testing of civil, mechanical, and electromechanical work at each stage of construction.
• Ensure materials, workmanship, and processes comply with contract specifications, IS codes, and CPHEEO guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain all QA/QC documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and test reports.
• Coordinate with execution teams, contractors, and third-party inspection agencies.
• Identify and report non-conformities and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
• Maintain records of material approvals, lab test reports, and site observations.
• Assist in internal audits and quality reviews.
• Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality standards and best practices.
  

Qualifications

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in CivilIndustry: Infrastructure / Water Supply / STP / WTP / EPC ProjectsJoining: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, testing methods, and material specifications.
• Familiar with civil and mechanical work inspection for STP, WTP, and pipeline projects.
• Knowledge of IS codes, CPHEEO manual, and third-party testing protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail, record-keeping, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and quality management systems.
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience in government/urban infrastructure projects involving water treatment or distribution.
• Exposure to NABL/TPA coordination and RMC/construction material testing.
