Job Description : We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer / Quality Manager Civil to oversee the quality assurance and control of all civil construction activities in a high-rise residential project . The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in QC/QA implementation , field inspections , and compliance documentation in line with project specifications and tender requirements. Key Responsibilities : Quality Assurance & Control Implement and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) at the project site. Conduct daily site inspections to verify that construction activities (excavation, concreting, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, etc.) conform to approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Approve and maintain quality checklists and inspection reports for all key activities. Inspection & Testing Schedule and perform quality inspections at all critical stages – reinforcement, formwork, concrete, finishing, etc. Ensure that all material testing (steel, cement, sand, concrete cubes, etc.) is done through approved labs as per IS codes and tender clauses. Witness and verify third-party test results, calibration reports, and material compliance. Documentation & Compliance Maintain systematic QA/QC records , inspection reports, test results, NCRs, material approvals, and other documents. Ensure documentation is up to date and aligned with tender specifications and contractual requirements . Prepare and submit monthly quality reports , logs, and compliance trackers to HO/client. Corrective & Preventive Action Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective actions are taken. Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to prevent recurring quality issues . Implement best practices to improve workmanship and reduce rework. Client & Internal Coordination Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party agencies for quality audits, inspections, and approvals . Participate in site meetings related to quality control and technical compliance. Train site teams on QA/QC procedures and standard practices. Key Skills Required : QA/QC in High-Rise Residential Construction Site Quality Inspection Material Testing & Third-Party Coordination Checklists & NCR Management Documentation as per Tender/Contract Specifications Concrete Technology & Finishing Work Checks IS Codes, Standards & Lab Test Interpretation MS Excel (QA logs, Reports), MS Word AutoCAD (for drawing verification – optional) Desired Candidate Profile : Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in high-rise residential projects Strong knowledge of construction methodology and material testing standards Familiar with RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, finishing QA processes Proficient in QA documentation, inspection scheduling, and non-conformance handling Should be self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to enforce quality discipline at site Good communication skills to interface with client, consultants, and site team
