QS Surveyor & Billing Executive

Job Description:

Frontier Furniture is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the interior fit-out industry and will be responsible for managing all estimation, costing, and billing aspects of our projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and project feasibility from the initial estimate to the final bill.

Key Responsibilities:

· Estimation and Costing:

o Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and quotations for interior fit-out projects based on drawings and design specifications.

o Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost database for materials, labor, and subcontractor rates.

o Analyse project plans and technical specifications to identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.

· Quantity Surveying:

o Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and item rate analyses from on-site data and architectural/interior drawings.

o Take precise measurements from the site team and drawings to ensure quantity accuracy.

o Cross-verify measurements and quantities for all project work.

· Billing and Documentation:

o Prepare and process running account (RA) bills, final bills, and invoices for clients and subcontractors.

o Maintain meticulous records of all project estimates, BOQs, and billing documents.

o Ensure a smooth handover of all detailed financial and technical information to the project execution team.

· Site & Technical Coordination:

o Collaborate with the project and site teams to resolve technical issues related to costing and measurements.

o Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and verify that work is executed as per the BOQ.

Key Skills Required:

· Experience:3+ years of direct experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor specifically within the interior design/fit-out industry.

· Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in reading and interpreting interior design and architectural drawings (CAD).

o Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is a must.

o Familiarity with estimation and project management software is a plus.

· Core Competencies:

o In-depth knowledge of interior materials, finishing items, and current market rates.

o Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

o Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

o Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

• Marine Lines, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
