Job Summary:

MERP Systems, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join our growing team. As part of the Capture Management unit, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to draft compelling proposals and RFP responses for our government and private sector clients.

This role is ideal for individuals who have strong writing and communication skills, a passion for research, and a drive to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and edit US based technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, leadership, and technical teams to gather information.
• Ensure proposal content is compliant, high-quality, and professionally formatted.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to a content repository for reuse.
• Support the proposal lifecycle end-to-end: planning, writing, reviewing, and finalizing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in proposal writing, technical writing, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of MS Office (especially Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with US government tendering process is a plus.
