Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production In charge - Machine shop at ULTIMATE ALLOYS PRIVATE LIMITED, located in Coimbatore. The Production In charge will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the machine shop, ensuring production schedules are met, supervising staff, maintaining quality control standards, managing inventory, and coordinating with other departments to optimise efficiency. The role also includes monitoring equipment maintenance and ensuring safety protocols are enforced.

• Manage daily machine shop operations to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
• Plan and allocate jobs based on priorities, ensuring efficient use of CNC (VMC, HMC, VTL) and conventional machines.
• Lead and coordinate with operators to maximize performance and productivity.
• Monitor machine performance and ensure timely maintenance for smooth shift operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical / Production Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a machine shop managing CNC and conventional machines.
• Strong knowledge of

  pumps and valve manufacturing

  and machining processes.
• Hands-on experience in

  CNC operations, job planning, and manpower supervision

• Familiar with

  methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the
