Procurement Specialist

Role Description

This is a permanent role for a Procurement Specialist The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for assisting with purchase orders, supporting procurement processes, and conducting purchasing tasks. The role also involves analytical tasks related to procurement efficiency and communication with suppliers. The candidate must have experience in procurement of RM & PM in the cosmetics / personal care manufacturing business.

Procurement Specialis wil beresponsible for managing the company’s procurement activities, ensuring the acquisition of goods, services, and works in a cost-effective and timely manner. This role involves developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, and overseeing the procurement process from order placement to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Procurement Strategies: Create and implement strategies to optimize sourcing and supplier selection processes.

Supplier Evaluation: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their quality, reliability, and pricing.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.

Purchase Order Management: Prepare and manage purchase orders in line with the company’s needs and budget.

Order Tracking: Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with contract terms.

Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

Risk Management: Assess, manage, and mitigate risks in the procurement process.

Record Keeping: Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges.
