Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a background in Electrical Engineering to manage sourcing and procurement of electrical components and equipment. The role involves vendor management, cost control, contract negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery for project and production needs. Key Responsibilities: Source and procure electrical materials (e.g., switchgear, cables, transformers). Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts. Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Coordinate with engineering and project teams. Manage inventory, logistics, and ERP systems Requirements: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (mandatory) 10+ years of procurement experience in electrical/EPC/manufacturing industry Strong vendor network and negotiation skills ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics) Job Type: Full-time Location: Chennai Salary: As per industry standards Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,558.39 - ₹50,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
