Principal – Nursing

Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya seeking a Principal – Nursing The Principal - Nursing will lead the School/College of Nursing at Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya, ensuring academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and holistic development of nursing students. The role involves overseeing curriculum delivery, faculty development, and clinical training in alignment with INC and university standards.

Job Description:-

• Provide academic leadership in nursing education, research, and training.
• Ensure adherence to Indian Nursing Council (INC) and university regulations.
• Develop and implement nursing curricula and training programs.
• Supervise faculty recruitment, development, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate clinical placements and ensure quality practical exposure for students.
• Promote research, seminars, and workshops in the field of nursing.
• Oversee student welfare, discipline, and overall academic progress.

Eligibility Criteria

• M.Sc. Nursing / Ph.D. in Nursing with a strong academic and professional record.
• Minimum 10-15 years of teaching experience in Nursing, including leadership roles.
• Registration with the State Nursing Council.
• Proven leadership, administrative, and mentoring skills.
