The Role: This is a field-based managerial role that requires close coordination with Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) across the Tura district. The FPC Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and effective market linkages. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee and manage all FPCs operating in Tura district under the project. · Ensure timely documentation, compliance, and error-free reporting within defined deadlines. · Facilitate production planning, aggregation, and marketing of farmers’ produce. · Support and advise on value-added products and income diversification for farmers. · Assist in capacity building of FPC CEOs, Board of Directors, and LRPs through regular handholding and training. · Manage basic HR functions within FPCs and ensure smooth functioning of field teams. Competencies Required:Knowledge: · Good understanding of FPO/FPC operations, agricultural marketing, and compliance procedures. · Familiarity with value chains, organic practices, and farmer-level challenges. · Strong documentation and reporting skills. Brief on the Organization: The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. (2023) that used NFHS-V to assess prevalence of Zero Dose children in India demonstrated that in the northeastern region of India, Meghalaya (17.8%) had some of the highest prevalence figures. Vaccine hesitancy and mistrust in government initiatives often result in entire villages refusing to be vaccinated. In order to address this, the current project plans to implement a “Participatory Learning and Action” approach to address demand-side descrepancies in selected villages of Meghalaya. A quasi-experimental non-randomised controlled study design will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of this community-based intervention using quantitative and qualitative methods. Deliverables: The project staff will carry out the day-to-day activities at one of two sites under the project, under the supervision of the project coordinator. Key responsibilities include: Fulfilling various duties with relation to day-to-day project activities Coordinate with local health system actors and project staff in a team to execute project activities under supervision Monitoring and providing hands-on training to community health workers Conduct PLA meetings in assigned villages and train local facilitators in PLA methods Coordinate survey logistics, including scheduling, mapping out survey locations, and managing transportation arrangements. Provide regular progress updates to the Project Coordinator and participate in team meetings to discuss project outcomes, challenges, and potential modifications. The term MEP includes HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting & Electrical Systems. The Key responsibility include commitment to ensure timely completion of project within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety.
