Job Description

Responsible for Pre-Bid solution engineering for Telecom packages.

Designing of solution for Telecom systems like FOTS, IP-Telephony, CDRS, TETRA & LTE, TSCADA, etc

Lead the planning, design, and execution of telecom systems for metro rail projects.

Oversee installation and commissioning of telecom subsystems including:

Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) Passenger Information Systems (PIS) CCTV Surveillance Public Address Systems (PAS) SCADA and Control Systems Radio Communication (TETRA/DMR) Telephone Exchange (EPABX/IPBX)

Coordinate with civil, signalling, and electrical teams for interface management.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., RDSO, MoHUA, IEC).

Prepare technical documentation, BOQs, and support tendering processes.

Conduct site inspections, FAT/SAT, and system integration testing.

Liaise with OEMs, contractors, and client representatives.

Preparing presentations for Customers/internal review, technical proposals, etc

Understanding the tender requirement as per RFX document like architecture, use cases, Integrations etc.

Understanding the solution from OEMs, Validation of Compliance with cross references, design considerations as per the tender requirement.

Preparing the design architectures and documents for submission along with final bid.

Estimation of technical efforts required during pre-bid.

Insightful experience in customer meetings, proposal making, Bill of Materials, customer presentations and imparting trainings to colleagues or subcon Engineers.
