Operations & Sourcing Executive

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Operations & Sourcing Executive to support vendor sourcing, packaging coordination, and day-to-day operational activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping us build strong supplier networks, ensure smooth procurement, and streamline backend operations crucial to our product quality and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and shortlist product vendors, raw material suppliers, and packaging vendors.• Collect and compare quotations; assist with price and term negotiations.• Build and maintain supplier/vendor relationships.

• Coordinate with packaging vendors for customized packaging needs, design approvals, and timely delivery.

• Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and order tracking sheets

.• Assist in inventory tracking and material planning.

• Ensure quality checks and timely procurement of goods.

• Visit vendor locations (factories, suppliers) when required for sampling or audits.

• Support founders with day-to-day operational tasks and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (Commerce, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).

• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or field work experience is a plus).

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.

• Self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn and handle multiple tasks

• Comfortable with local travel as needed.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with packaging or FMCG vendors.

• Basic knowledge of sourcing platforms (e.g., IndiaMART, TradeIndia).

• Interest in food, spices, or restaurant supply chains (if relevant to your business).
