Operating System Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated OS Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining operating system components. You will work at the core of system software, ensuring performance, security, and reliability for both existing and next-generation platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement low-level system components such as schedulers, memory managers, file systems, and device drivers. Maintain and enhance existing OS features for performance and security. Work closely with hardware engineers to support new hardware and architecture. Debug kernel-level issues using advanced diagnostic tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system components. Contribute to open-source OS projects (if applicable). Stay updated on advancements in OS design, security, and emerging technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with assembly language . Solid understanding of operating system concepts (e.g., process management, threading, memory management, file systems). Experience working with kernel-level programming in at least one OS (e.g., Linux, Windows, BSD). Knowledge of hardware-software interfaces , bootloaders, and interrupt handling. Ability to project manage. Good problem-solving skills.
