Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated OpenCart Developer with over 2 years of hands-on experience in developing and customizing eCommerce solutions using the OpenCart platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in custom plugin/module development, theme integration, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom plugins/modules for OpenCart.
• Customize and extend existing OpenCart features to meet business requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
• Optimize website performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver complete eCommerce solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest OpenCart versions, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with OpenCart (v3.x, v4.x).
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Proven expertise in building custom OpenCart plugins/modules.
• Experience with OpenCart theme customization and the Twig templating engine.
• Familiarity with MVC architecture and OOP principles.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with multi-store and multi-language setups in OpenCart.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce platforms.
• Exposure to Linux hosting environments and basic server management.
