About the Role: Sr. Data Engineer will provide technical expertise in designing and building Modern Data warehouse in Azure Cloud to meet the data needs for various BU in Gartner. You will be part of Ingestion Team to bring data from multiple sources into Data warehouse. Collaborate with Dashboard, Analytic & Business Team to build end to end scalable data pipelines. What you will do: Responsible to review and analysis of business requirements and design technical mapping document Build new ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Help build defining best practices & processes Collaborate on Data warehouse architecture and technical design discussions Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design and specifications, as well as document and review detailed designs Provide status reports to the higher management Maintain Service Levels and department goals for problem resolution What you will need: 4-6 years of experience in Data warehouse design & development Experience in ETL using Azure Data Factory (ADF) Experience in writing complex TSQL procedures in Synapse / Sql Data warehouse Experience in analyze complex code and performance tune pipelines Experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment utilizing CI/CD tools Good knowledge in Azure cloud technology and exposure in Azure cloud components Good understanding of business process and analyzing underlying data Understanding of dimensional and relational modeling Who you are: Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Excellent communications skills interacting with technical and business audience’s Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new technologies/ideas and master concepts rapidly.
