Millwork / Cabinet Designer

• Read and interpret architectural floor plans to create accurate cabinet/millwork designs.
• Review and mark up shop drawings for correctness and buildability.
• Apply deep knowledge of cabinetry construction, materials, and finishes.
• Prepare millwork packages for brand rollouts, ensuring consistency with brand and production standards.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and assist in selection/value engineering.
• Coordinate with designers, architects, contractors, and fabricators at all project stages.
• Ensure design deliverables meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirements.
• Suggest improvements for design, manufacturing, or aesthetics when possible.
  

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cabinet or millwork design.
• Strong skills in reading architectural and construction documents.
• Excellent understanding of shop drawing standards and production processes.
• Proficiency in CAD and drafting tools.
• Solid knowledge of cabinet joinery, hardware, and millwork materials.
• Good organizational and project coordination skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication for working with multiple teams.
