Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Product Design & Development

• Design mechanical components and assemblies from concept to production.
• Ensure designs are functional, cost-effective, durable, and manufacturable.

🖥 CAD Modeling & Drafting

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.
• Ensure all designs comply with GD&T standards and best practices.

📑 Documentation & BOM Management

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, specifications, and design records.
• Manage and control documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

🧪 Prototype & Testing

• Lead/support the development and validation of prototypes (MVPs).
• Conduct and analyze functional/performance tests and refine designs accordingly.

🔩 Manufacturing Expertise

• Apply deep knowledge of sheet metal fabrication (bending, forming, laser cutting, welding).
• Incorporate machining techniques to ensure manufacturable, CNC-optimized designs.

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure a smooth transition from design to production.
