Key Responsibilities:

Support Sales channels in providing accurate and efficient fund data to clients
Carrying out appropriate levels of data quality assurance / validation
Coding and generating reports using Power BI
Preparation for distribution of client data files under direction of Client Reporting team
Investigation into issues identified with accuracy of externally presented data
Provision of data to the relevant team for database maintenance
Support Investment Teams with data analysis and data report production
Ensure own work is completed to a high level of accuracy within service level agreements, to achieve regulatory targets
Maintain and implement personal development plan in partnership with immediate manager
Identify, facilitate and implement process improvement ideas to improve efficiency
Keep own knowledge up to date in relation to client servicing and data management
To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise
To achieve and maintain required level of competency as per the training and competency framework
Monthly meeting with Global senior management
Discussing risk reporting, fails, issues, new procedures and policies
Making recommendations to senior management based upon findings
Streamlining processes to improve accuracy by bringing more efficient
Reviewing systems and processes to automate any manual functions
Awareness and implementation of client customizations and new products and services
Assist with the completion of client RFP s and modelling of billing arrangements
Research billing history and establish benchmarks for similar previous matters
Prepare matter budgets and subsequent performance reporting

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong understanding of instruments across the suite of asset classes M&G in which invest
(fixed income, securitised debt, public equity, ETD & OTC derivatives, leveraged loans, private debt, private
equity)
Knowledge of data required to support an investment book of record (i.e. securities, issuers, position,
transaction, fund, benchmark, counterparty).
Extensive knowledge of common data requirements across regulations.
Proactive self-starter, with the ability to identify problems and follow them through to resolution.
Pride in working to high standards in a dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to record and communicate clearly and effectively
Understanding of the investment management industry and the products that are offered.
Appreciation and experience of the requirements of an operational control environment.
Excellent attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently to set deadlines.
Ability to generate and maintain positive relationships within the team and across the business.
Experience working with external suppliers and data vendors.
Experience of data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
Advanced Excel skills, with ability to use VBA, with proficient knowledge of SQL and Phyton.

Experience:

A minimum of 7 years experience.
Good working knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Aladdin.
Demonstrated practical experience in projects related to mentioned tech skills

Educational Qualification:

Finance degree, any progress towards CFA will be preferred
Certifications in Power BI, SQL, and Python are advantageous
