Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that focus on transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work proactively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.

Responsibilities Lead endtoend GIS and spatial data analytics projects across sectors Design, develop and manage spatial databases and geospatial analysis models Integrate spatial and nonspatial data from various sources for advanced analytics Develop dashboards, maps and visualizations using GIS and BI tools Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into geospatial solutions Conduct spatial modeling, proximity analysis, network analysis and land use analysis Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to apply spatial intelligence in broader analytics Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies, tools and industry trends Mentor and guide junior GIS analysts on project delivery and best practices

Mandatory skill sets 4+ years of experience in GIS and spatial data analytics Proficiency with GIS software such as ArcGIS (Desktop, Pro, Online), QGIS Handson experience with spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial, etc.) Strong knowledge of geospatial data processing and cartography principles Experience in Python or R for geospatial analysis (e.g., using libraries like Geopandas, Shapely, Rasterio) Ability to handle raster and vector data, satellite imagery and remote sensing data Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred skill sets Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) with map visualization integrations Familiarity with web GIS technologies (JavaScript, Leaflet, Mapbox, ArcGIS API for JavaScript) Exposure to cloudbased GIS (ArcGIS Online, Google Earth Engine, AWS/GCP geospatial tools) Knowledge of machine learning or AI integration with spatial data

Prior experience in utilities, urban planning, agriculture, transportation or environmental domains

Years of experience required 4+ years

Education qualification Bachelor s or Master s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
