Key Responsibilities1. Plant Operations & Process Control

• Monitor and supervise day-to-day operations of ETP/STP to ensure smooth functioning.
• Oversee parameters like pH, BOD, COD, TSS, TDS, and flow rates to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize chemical dosing, aeration, sludge management, etc., for efficiency.

2. Maintenance & Upkeep

• Plan and ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of pumps, blowers, motors, and other equipment.
• Maintain and update logbooks and maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering teams for repairs and upgrades.

3. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to all environmental regulations (e.g., CPCB, SPCB norms).
• Maintain records of influent and effluent quality testing and submit reports to regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and obtain necessary approvals or renewals.

4. Team Management

• Supervise plant operators, maintenance staff, and laboratory personnel.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety standards.
• Create work schedules and assign tasks.

5. Reporting & Coordination

• Report performance data, operational issues, and compliance status to management.
• Liaise with environmental consultants, third-party labs, and statutory bodies.
• Participate in internal audits, environmental assessments, and sustainability initiatives.

6. Cost Management

• Monitor and control operational costs (chemicals, energy, manpower).
• Identify opportunities for resource conservation and cost reduction.

7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Enforce safety protocols and use of PPE in the treatment facility.
• Conduct safety drills and ensure emergency preparedness.
• Handle hazardous waste disposal responsibly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
