The role involves identifying job, internship, and freelance opportunities, and building partnerships with companies and startups. The CDC Manager will lead employability training through workshops on communication, resume building, interviews, and soft skills. They will work closely with students to understand their aspirations and track career progress. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and cultural sensitivity. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure each student is career-ready and meaningfully placed by the end of their academic journey.

Skills & Traits
- Placement & Opportunity Mapping
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Indian startups, companies, NGOs, and global employers for internships and placement opportunities
- Source, evaluate, and onboard job/internship providers aligned with the skillsets of international students
- Curate and manage a calendar of placement drives and career events for various batches
- Develop and deliver training modules on resume building, interview preparation, corporate communication, LinkedIn branding, and soft skills
- Organize workshops, webinars, mock interviews, and mentorship sessions with industry professionals
- Partner with academic and skills teams to ensure students are job-market ready by the end of their course.
- Understand students' backgrounds, aspirations, and skill levels to provide tailored career guidance
- Work 1:1 or in groups with students to track their progress toward job-readiness
- Maintain detailed records of each student's employability journey
- Work closely with the admissions, academic, and alumni teams to build a strong CDC pipeline
- Collaborate with the international operations team to understand region-wise student expectations and career aspirations
- Maintain dashboards to track student training progress, placement outcomes, and employer partnerships
- Share weekly/monthly updates with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to long-term strategy planning for CDC growth and international expansion.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Education or related field
- Prior experience in career services, training & placement, international education, or employability programs is a strong plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, resume platforms, and job portals
- Passionate about student development and cross-cultural engagement
- Ability to work with diverse teams and be flexible with schedules across time zones.
