Machine Operator/Forklift Driver

As an experienced Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other industrial vehicles to safely move materials, products, and equipment as necessary. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials from trucks, railcars, and other transportation vehicles. You will also be tasked with tracking inventory, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. In this role, you will be expected to move, stack, and organize materials in designated storage areas while following inventory control instructions. Safety compliance is of utmost importance, and you must adhere to all safety regulations and company guidelines related to machinery operation and material handling, including OSHA standards. Basic equipment maintenance is also part of your responsibilities. You will need to perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment, reporting any malfunctions to your supervisors promptly. Additionally, maintaining accurate records of material movements, inventory, and any incidents or safety hazards is crucial. Quality assurance is another aspect of the job, as you will be required to inspect materials for damage or defects and report any quality issues that may arise. Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors regarding material movement, inventory, and safety concerns is essential. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting potential safety hazards in the workplace. Building and organizing pallets of materials, ensuring proper stacking and stability, is part of your daily tasks. Moreover, you will be utilizing RF scanning equipment to track inventory and ensure accuracy. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for both experienced individuals and freshers.
