Machine Operator/Forklift Driver

• Operating Forklifts and Material Handling Equipment:Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other industrial vehicles to move materials, products, and equipment as needed.
• Loading and Unloading:Load and unload materials from trucks, railcars, and other transportation vehicles.
• Inventory Management:Track inventory, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Material Handling:Move, stack, and organize materials in designated storage areas, following inventory control instructions.
• Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety regulations and company guidelines related to the operation of machinery and the handling of materials, including OSHA standards.
• Basic Equipment Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment, and report any malfunctions to supervisors.
• Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of material movements, inventory, and any incidents or safety hazards.
• Quality Assurance:Inspect materials for damage or defects, and report any quality issues.
• Communication:Effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors regarding material movement, inventory, and any safety concerns.
• Hazard Identification:Identify and report potential safety hazards in the workplace.
• Pallet Building and Stacking:Build and organize pallets of materials, ensuring proper stacking and stability.
• Utilizing RF Scanning Equipment:Employ radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track inventory and ensure accuracy
