Manager / Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Legal

Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of property and related laws
Proficient with legal systems and data management

Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:

Title Report Review & Approval

Analyze and approve title search reports before property acceptance for mortgage or security creation.
Provide legal guidance to business teams based on title search findings.

Compliance & Quality Control

Ensure stamping compliance and perform random checks on reports and property valuations to uphold standards.
Identify and highlight risks associated with collateral and mortgage creation.

External Counsel Coordination

Liaise with external lawyers to investigate property titles.
Discuss title issues and recommend remedial actions prior to security creation.

Legal Drafting & Documentation

Draft and review equitable and simple mortgage agreements, declarations, and undertakings related to mortgage securities.
Customize legal documentation, standardize templates, and ensure branch adherence.

Policy & Stamp Duty Advisory

Update and revise legal policies; advise on stamp duties and regulatory compliance.
Oversee the enforcement of security interests.
Address compliance-related matters and draft structured lending agreements for builders.

Retail Loan & Legal Notice Management

Draft retail loan agreements and prepare responses to legal notices.

MIS & Record Maintenance

Maintain detailed MIS and records for all cases, including agreements, compliance documentation, checklists, and legal actions.
