Job Title: Lead Python Engineer (AWS)

Mandatory:

Strong expertise in
Python
and
SQL
.
Hands-on
AWS development
(not just deployment) with 2+ services:
Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, EC2, CloudFormation, EventBridge, etc.

Preferred:

Web frameworks (
FastAPI/Flask
), AWS Cognito, CI/CD with
Terraform
.
Databases:
PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Aurora
.
Utility domain (Metering Services)
experience is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead a team
of Python developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Design, develop, and deploy
scalable Python backend applications
on AWS.
Build
RESTful APIs
using FastAPI/Flask and integrate AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway).
Implement
CI/CD pipelines
using Terraform and manage code via
Git/Bitbucket
.
Ensure
high-quality deliverables
with unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an
agile, rapid-iteration environment
.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

5+ years of
Python development
with AWS cloud integration.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to
work independently
.
Experience in
automated deployments, REST APIs, and database management
.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
