Lead Piping Engineer

You are an experienced Piping Design Engineer with a focus on EPC projects. Your role involves ensuring technical compliance, evaluating vendor offers, and overseeing the installation and commissioning of piping systems to meet project objectives. You should have a strong understanding of Piping systems, technical scrutiny, and specification preparation, along with vendor management experience. Your responsibilities include understanding typical P&IDs & Isometrics drawings, identifying pipe routing and locations of various pipe supports, and coordinating within the piping team to provide mark-ups. You will be developing Piping GADs, Piping Isometrics, and Piping Standard drawings, monitoring changes in the project, and participating in 3D model reviews with relevant disciplines. It is essential for you to have knowledge of piping and valve material specifications, relevant codes, and standards, as well as experience with Pipe Stress Analysis and selection of Pipe Supports. Your proficiency in modeling tools like Autodesk Plant3D, AVEVA E3D, PDMS, CADWorx is crucial for this role. You should be familiar with Piping Specifications, codes & standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, DIN, JIS, EN. Your ability to lead project teams, resolve discipline issues effectively, and ensure contractual requirements are met will be key to your success. Additionally, you will coordinate with other disciplines, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives. Your exceptional mentorship abilities will enable you to introduce and implement technical solutions effectively. You should possess advanced knowledge of business operations and project management. Flexibility, a solution-oriented approach, and being a strong team player are essential qualities for this role.
