About the Team : You will be joining a pivotal team at Eightfold responsible for our flagship Talent Acquisition (TA) product line, a major revenue generator that has been integral to our success from the start

What you ll do: > Lead end-to-end ownership of projects and PODs, driving design, development, and delivery

> Be hands-on with coding, actively contributing to core development alongside the team

> Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering teams to lead design discussions and define technical solutions

> Mentor junior engineers through regular code reviews and technical guidance

> Design and develop robust, scalable, and configurable server-side applications and modules with a strong focus on performance, quality, and reusability

> Build and maintain new microservices or integrate with existing systems to deliver scalable solutions

> Design and develop safe and reliable data pipelines to enable high-scale data integration for Fortune 500 customers

> Build with customization and generalization in mind, leveraging configuration management for flexible solutions

> Drive code quality improvements by increasing unit test and Selenium test coverage

> Enhance internal tools for streamlined administration, monitoring, and alerting

What we need: > Strong grounding in Computer Science fundamentals, with 6 10 years of hands-on back-end development experience

> Proven experience leading projects, features, or PODs, with ownership of design and delivery

> Familiarity with Generative AI tools is a plus, especially tools like Cursor, which we actively use in our workflows

> Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture

> Passion for designing, building, launching, and maintaining products, with attention to long-term scalability and quality

> Strong attention to user experience details and system design

> Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (bonus points for Python)

> Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
