ABC Talkies is India’s first digital cinema marketplace, enabling independent filmmakers to showcase and monetize their work directly. We're on a mission to disrupt the OTT and indie film ecosystem. 

Role Summary

We’re looking for a passionate and connected content professional to lead filmmaker outreach and content acquisition. You’ll play a key role in discovering quality indie films, short films, feature films and documentaries, building relationships with creators, and curating content that reflects the voice of new-age cinema. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and onboard feature films, independent filmmakers and content creators. 
• Build a strong creator community through outreach, events, and engagement programs. 
• Source and acquire compelling short films, indie films, web-series, Micro-Dramas and documentaries across languages and genres. 
• Coordinate with internal teams for content onboarding and marketing. 
• Track content performance and user feedback to inform future acquisitions. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• A Media school grad with a strong passion and eye for creative content. 
• 3–5 years of experience in content acquisition, film festivals, or creative partnerships. 
• Strong network in the independent film ecosystem. 
• Passion for cinema and storytelling. 
• Good negotiation and communication skills. 
• Understanding of rights, IP, and licensing basics is a plus. 

Compensation Structure (Base + Performance Incentive):

• ₹7.0 – ₹10.0 LPA (depending on experience and network strength) 

Performance-Based Incentives: Up to ₹4.0 LPA  

• Verified filmmaker onboardings per quarter 
• Percentage of films successfully uploaded and activated 
• Regional language expansion and content mix 
• Institutional partnerships initiated 
• Onboarding of films in platform events (e.g., The Big Shorts Challenge) 



Total Target CTC: ₹11.0 – ₹14.0 LPA
