Minutes to Seconds is looking for a Business Analyst with extensive knowledge of Data in a Contract role in Melbourne.
Requirements Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.

Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement review sessions with cross-functional teams.
Data Analysis & Testing

Perform detailed data analysis using SQL, Excel, and BI tools.

Validate large datasets across systems to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.

Define and execute data test cases for end-to-end data flow validation, including source-to-target mapping.

Collaborate with data engineers and testers to identify and resolve data anomalies.
Domain Expertise Retail / Supply Chain

Analyze processes related to inventory management, order fulfillment, procurement, POS, logistics, and supply planning.

Understand and document data flows across systems such as ERP, WMS, OMS, or retail merchandising platforms.

Work with SMEs to design enhancements and optimizations in supply chain or retail operations.
Stakeholder Management & Communication

Act as the liaison between business users, technical teams, and QA teams.

Prepare BRDs, FRDs, wireframes, and dashboard mockups where needed.

Present findings, solutions, and reports to stakeholders in clear business terms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with proven data-related project experience.

Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience validating and reconciling datasets.

Experience with data mapping , data lineage , and ETL validation .

Familiarity with BI/Reporting tools.

Proven experience working in the Retail or Supply Chain domain (mandatory).

Understanding of supply chain workflows: inventory, warehousing, logistics, procurement, etc.

Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with ERP systems.

Understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data platforms.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.

Other relevant certifications.
