POSITION SUMMARY
Incumbent is expected to join Textron Systems IT Infrastructure and Service Delivery team and will be responsible design and develop custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform. The Infra structure and Service Delivery team provides innovative solutions using modern technologies to support key requirements, and as part of this team, he/she will take part in a fast-paced work environment with tasks consisting of software development, troubleshooting, documentation, and strategic technological or process improvements.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer with 3 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and a solid understanding of IT workflows and service management processes.
- Seek and devise alternative courses of actions and solicit feedback for professional development
- Collaborate with other technical experts to discuss and decide the most plausible approach to business problem and devise the solution for the same
- Exploring new functionality to resolve user issues and enhance user productivity and experience
- Providing On-Call and urgent issue support as required
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Design and develop custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other relevant certifications. - (Preferred but not mandatory).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - (Preferred but not mandatory).
- Certified in ITIL V4 - is a plus.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow implementations.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues.
