Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Incharge to oversee and implement safety protocols across our construction and community development projects. The Safety Incharge will ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards while cultivating a culture of safety awareness at all levels. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor the EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policy, procedures, and programs. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with legal safety standards. Promote a safe working culture through awareness sessions, toolbox talks, and safety drills. Ensure safety signage and protective equipment are appropriately used across the site. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend corrective and preventive actions. Maintain safety records including incident reports, inspection findings, and training logs. Liaise with government bodies and ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations (e.g., Factories Act, BOCW Act). Support environmental sustainability practices in alignment with Organos eco-conscious mission. Key Requirements Bachelors degree / Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline. Certification in Industrial Safety (such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or Govt. recognized safety diploma). 4-7 years of experience in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects. Knowledge of applicable health & safety regulations and construction site best practices. Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills. Familiarity with eco-sensitive project management is an advantage.
