Job Description

We are Hiring! Inventory Manager – SAPA Bakery a unit of Kaffeeklastch Hospitality LLP. Job Description: Responsible for the efficient and accurate management of all inventory within the cafe and restaurant, ensuring that optimal stock levels of food, beverages, dry goods, and operating supplies are maintained to support smooth daily operations and minimize waste. This role involves overseeing the entire inventory lifecycle, from procurement and receiving to storage, tracking, and depletion. The Inventory Manager will work closely with the kitchen, front-of-house staff, and suppliers to ensure product availability, control costs, and uphold quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor and manage inventory levels of all food, beverage, and operating supplies for the cafe and restaurant. * Place and track purchase orders with approved vendors, ensuring timely delivery and accurate order fulfillment. * Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming inventory. * Implement and maintain a detailed inventory tracking system (manual or digital). * Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with records to identify discrepancies. * Ensure proper storage, rotation (FIFO - First-In, First-Out), and labeling of all inventory items according to food safety and quality standards. * Implement and monitor cost-control measures related to inventory, including tracking food and beverage costs. * Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste and spoilage. * Maintain organized records of all inventory transactions, including purchases, usage, and waste. * Collaborate with the Head Chef and management to forecast inventory needs based on menu changes, specials, and anticipated business levels. * Ensure the accuracy and accessibility of design and packaging files and manage stock levels of packaging materials. * Work with internal teams to ensure inventory procedures are followed. Skills Required: * Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail. * Knowledge of food and beverage inventory management principles and practices. * Familiarity with food safety and storage regulations. * Proficiency in maintaining detailed records and generating reports. * Problem-solving abilities to address inventory discrepancies and issues. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Negotiation and relationship-building skills with suppliers. * Understanding of cost control and waste reduction methodologies in a food service environment.
