ExxonMobil is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to support Project’s Brown Field Organization (BPO) as Materials Support Specialist’s focus provide Materials Engineering technical support and expertise to its capital projects. The candidate would be part of Brownfield Projects team in ExxonMobil Global Projects Organization, working out of ExxonMobil's Bengaluru Campus (Prestige Shantiniketan) in India. The candidate would be responsible for working with multi-discipline teams to execute/establish/improve materials engineering related work processes/solutions/ recommendations. The Brownfield Project Organization (BPO) Materials Support Specialist’s main function is to act as ExxonMobil’s lead to oversee the work of the DTI contractor’s engineering team for materials discipline and project portfolio. The primary objective of this role is to increase the overall performance in quality, cost and schedule of the engineering work performed by the DTI engineering contractors. The role will require both engineering management and technical skills. Leadership is an essential skill as the BPO Materials Support Specialist will need to develop and maintain a strong relationship and rapport with their contractor discipline counterparts in order to influence how they function and drive improvements. The relationship between the BPO Materials Support Specialist and their respective site(s) is equally as critical to ensure alignment on the scope, design basis, etc. In addition to leadership skills, a strong technical aptitude is needed to ensure the quality, completeness and accuracy, and timeliness of the contractors’ work meets the project’s objectives, and it enables the BPO Materials Support Specialist to apply sound technical decision making on behalf of the asset(s) they represent. What you will do Support development of Stage 2 and Stage 3 project team deliverables including right scope definition, technical design basis preparation, engineering criticality assessments, engineering surveillance plans, etc., Review Engineering and Procurement proposals from contractors to support award recommendations. This includes assessing the engineering scope, schedule, manpower, deliverable list as well as the contractor’s understanding of the scope for materials discipline. Provide recommendations to the Project Manager to ensure and sounds proposal basis. Assess and monitor competency and performance of contractor’s discipline engineers assigned to their respective portfolio and make recommendation to the Portfolio Engineering Lead or Portfolio Engineering Manager. Provide oversight and quality control on contractor deliverables. Review and comment on contractor’s work in line with key issues alignment list, engineering criticality and surveillance plans. Ensure work meets project technical and operational requirements. Perform follow up with contractor on key design issues identified during deliverables review. Participate in project design reviews (e.g. HAZOP, etc.,) Identify and elevate systemic challenges for respective discipline in quality or schedule adherence to Portfolio Engineering Lead and Project Manager. Provide recommendations to enable effective resolution. Proactively identify and work discipline specific issues for respective contractor. Support procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning and startup activities as required, This may require shop/site visits. Participate in assessments/audits of contractors’ processes and systems. Assists in the review of contractors' work processes, procedures (including those for model reviews) and planned deliverables for FEED, detailed engineering and procurement that are used to effectively manage and control design engineering activities. Ensure Contractor’s typical deliverables are fit-for-purpose and cost effective. Recommends corrective action where deficiencies in performance are detected and verifies that actions are taken. Coordinates with Global SMEs to ensure compliance with OIMS, safety, environmental protection, asset protection, reliability, operability, and maintainability are engineered into the facility. Provides input to the project managers on key strategies and decisions and works with project teams to ensure timely resolution of technical & engineering interface challenges, directing engineering studies. Seek Site Engineering Specialist input on key issues and keep them informed/aligned on key technical decisions & deliverables. What you will do-Cont.. Raise issues that are not resolved by Contractor to the Project Engineer & Engineering Specialist Coordinator as needed. Perform materials selection for Greenfield and Brownfield projects across the Upstream, Low Carbon Solutions, and Petrochemical value chains by leveraging company and industry standards, codes, and global practices. Develop materials specifications for procurement of new equipment for a project or planned replacement. Act as a Materials Project Engineering Specialist to review equipment and piping design specifications and other related materials integrity documents developed by EPCs. Review materials test reports and mill certificates to confirm conformance with materials specification requirements. Perform corrosion calculations using EM Proprietary and 3rd Party vendor corrosion prediction models to support material selection decisions. Review Materials Selection Philosophy, Manufacturer's MPS/ITP and other Materials Engineering related documents. Provide resolution to materials deviation requests from EPC's and Operating organizations on timely and clear communication with project teams with consideration to performance/integrity, CAPEX, schedule and OPEX factors. Perform life cycle cost calculations to validate material selection decisions incl. options for corrosion and low alloy steels with corrosion management. Participate in reviewing and upgrading company and/or industry guidelines and practices. Provide technical mentoring and continuous on-the-job guidance to early career engineers in the team. Coordinate and communicate between various global centers and business affiliates for knowledge transfer, sharing learnings, skill management and maintaining business relationships. Perform failure analysis for metallic material involving various degradation mechanism and provide or recommend corrective/preventive actions. About You Skills and Qualifications. Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university in Metallurgy/ Materials Engineering or related disciplines from a recognized university. Minimum 10 years of experience in Materials Engineering in the oil & gas industry including project support. Demonstrated work experience and knowledge in materials selection, corrosion assessment/control, welding/fabrication, and inspection/testing in support of facilities design. Preferred Qualifications/Experiences Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders. Strong verbal/written communication skills in English, adaptability/interpersonal skills. Work shift is normally in the afternoon shift (01:30 pm to 10:30 pm) with flexibility to meet business needs. Flexibility to travel internationally as per business needs. Responsibilities Collaborate with customers to assess the scope of their Autodesk product customization and configuration requirements Analyze customer needs and contribute to configuring Autodesk products to meet those needs Develop written specifications to capture business requirements for proposed solutions and configuration Work independently and with internal team members to estimate effort levels. What you will do: A Tax Operate Pursuit Manager is responsible for driving some of NSE’s most complex and strategic pursuit lifecycles and opportunities. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of assets, resources, content and plans to support Must Win opportunities across the region, and work closely with priority account teams to execute on Market Activation programs. The Pursuit Manager is required to rapidly engage with – and drive collaboration between – numerous pursuit and leadership stakeholders and the client service delivery team to create compelling and differentiated selling propositions for our clients. The company is poised for significant scale-up and innovation in the production of high-performance carbon materials for environmental, industrial, and energy storage applications. Position Summary: We are seeking a Production In-Charge – Activation Process to manage day-to-day operations of the rotary kiln-based steam activation line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising kiln operations, coordinating with supporting departments, managing production yield and efficiency, and ensuring high-quality activated carbon output. The role requires strong technical knowledge of rotary kiln processes and hands-on leadership to guide kiln operators and helpers in a 24x7 production environment. Key Responsibilities:Production Planning & Execution: Prepare and implement daily and weekly activation schedules in line with plant capacity and sales demand. Ensure timely feeding of granulated charcoal and smooth operation of steam activation kilns. Adjust operational parameters (temperature, residence time, steam flow) to meet target product specifications. Kiln Operations Management: Monitor performance of Jumbo Rotary Kilns and the pilot R&D kiln. Ensure optimal burn-off rates, residence time, and steam utilization. Maintain detailed records of shift operations, process deviations, and kiln downtime. Team Supervision: Supervise kiln operators, feeding staff, and helpers across shifts. Assign shift duties, conduct performance reviews, and ensure adherence to SOPs. Provide on-the-job training in rotary kiln safety, operation, and efficiency. Yield & Quality Optimization: Maximize production yield by reducing overburn, underburn, and conversion loss. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to meet Iodine, CTC, moisture, and ash content targets. Support troubleshooting and corrective actions in response to QA deviations. Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with the Maintenance department for routine and preventive maintenance of kilns, blowers, and steam systems. Coordinate with the Process Engineering team to implement optimization trials and upgrades. Interface with QA/QC team for real-time quality feedback and COA release readiness. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain logs of daily production, steam consumption, downtime, charcoal input, and activated carbon output. Prepare shift reports and submit daily yield analysis to the Production Manager. Implement standard process documentation for compliance and traceability.
