Job Description

ob Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The role involves training staff, managing schedules, and conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily housekeeping operations and staff.
Assign duties and inspect work for accuracy and adherence to standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff performance.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed.
Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Report maintenance issues and follow up on repairs.
Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally.
Prepare shift reports and maintain housekeeping records.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training preferred.
Proven experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Flexibility to work weekends and shifts as needed.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced hotel or hospitality setting.
May involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
