Have you considered working in the Rheumatology specialty to further develop your physiotherapy skills? We are currently offering a position for a Band 6 physiotherapist to join our Rheumatology AHP Team. This role involves working as a specialist physiotherapist within a multidisciplinary rheumatology team that provides advice, treatment, and rehabilitation to patients with inflammatory conditions.The position is based within the South Sector, covering Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Gartnavel General Hospital, and New Victoria Hospital, with potential opportunities to move between other hospital sites for learning purposes. The post holder would be able to participate in clinics such as ultrasound scanning, joint injection, and consultant and nurse-led clinics. We aim to provide a supportive learning environment within our team, and training experiences can be organised around specific learning goals.We seek a Physiotherapist with good core skills, a minimum of 2 years post-graduate NHS experience as a Band 5/6 physiotherapist, and at least 6 months of experience in MSK. The candidate should have an interest in improving their knowledge of rheumatology pathology, assessment/treatment skills, and clinical reasoning and must be a strong communicator.t is essential to have a degree/diploma in Physiotherapy with current HCPC registration.
