Job Summary:

We are seeking a Safety Officer to oversee and enforce safety regulations at wind farm construction, operation, and maintenance sites.


Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure all wind turbine O&M activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments for wind turbine installations, maintenance, and dismantling activities.
  3. Develop, implement, and review site-specific HSE plans and emergency response protocols.
  4. Ensure safe working practices at height, in confined spaces, and during lifting and rigging operations.
  5. Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for all personnel and contractors.
  6. Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
  7. Keep records of safety-related activities including permits, inspections, audits, and compliance documents.
  8. Promote a proactive safety culture among employees, subcontractors, and site visitors.
  9. Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear are used and maintained appropriately.
  10. Stay updated with the latest wind energy safety regulations, industry best practices, and technologies.


Qualification

  1. Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) or equivalent
  2. NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH certification or equivalent safety qualification is preferred.
  3. 2–5 years of HSE experience in the energy sector, preferably in wind energy.


Working Conditions

  1. The work location is at our Wind Farm Site or HO-Pune, Maharashtra
  2. The person must travel based on the requirement of the job and occasional travel to sites/ customer offices to understand various inputs/requirements.
