General Insurance Sales Executive

We are looking for a goal-driven and customer-focused General Insurance Sales Executive to promote and sell various general insurance products such as motor, health, travel, and property insurance. The role involves direct interaction with customers, lead generation, relationship management, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for general insurance products
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, field visits, and digital platforms
• Understand client needs and provide suitable insurance solutions
• Explain product features, benefits, and terms to customers
• Prepare and submit insurance proposals, quotations, and policy documentation
• Achieve individual and team sales targets as defined by the organization
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients for renewals and cross-selling
• Coordinate with underwriters and operations teams for timely policy issuance
• Stay updated on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor offerings
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preference for Business, Commerce, or Marketing)
• Prior experience in insurance sales or financial services (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Sales-driven attitude with the ability to work under pressure
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools)
• Knowledge of IRDAI regulations and insurance processes is an advantage
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of general insurance products and industry landscape
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and follow up proactively
• Fluent in local language and English
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and customer-first approach

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
