Floor Supervisor

As a Packing Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and leading the packing team to ensure a smooth and efficient packing process. Your key responsibilities will include allocating tasks, monitoring daily production goals, and schedules, as well as maintaining an organized packing area to improve workflow and efficiency. You will be required to manage the packing process by monitoring operations to ensure products are packed according to specifications and customer requirements. Additionally, you will need to ensure that packing materials are available and used appropriately to protect products during shipment. Quality control will be a crucial aspect of your role, which involves performing regular checks on packed goods to ensure compliance with quality standards, identifying and resolving packing defects or errors, and ensuring proper labeling and packaging instructions are followed. In terms of inventory and materials management, you will be responsible for monitoring the inventory of packing materials, coordinating with inventory or warehouse teams to fulfill packing materials and supplies, and organizing and storing materials and tools correctly to avoid waste or delays. You will also be required to track and report on daily packing output, report any issues or delays to the management team, and maintain records of packing operations. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 2-3 years of experience in a packing, production, or warehouse environment, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role. You should be familiar with packing processes, materials, and quality control standards, possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to solve problems and handle unexpected challenges in a fast-paced environment.
