Finance Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a finance analyst to join the team based in Mumbai, India. At a high level, the responsibilities of the finance analyst includes: Performing journal entries and account reconciliations including identification and remediation of all issues in compliance with audit requirements Reconciliation of bank balances and the request of resultant settlements Participating in the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing and reporting processes Participating in the internal and external audit process. Working closely with other functional areas (e.g. legal and regulatory, treasury, actuarial and reinsurance) to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals. Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and ensure compliance with statutory guidance and regulatory deadlines. Collaborating with colleagues and initiate ideas to identify, design, and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Maintaining an understanding of the business, including regulatory and statutory requirements
