Field Sales Executive – Job Overview

A Field Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, acquiring, and maintaining clients within a designated geographical territory. Acting as the face of the company, they are instrumental in building strong client relationships, presenting service offerings, and successfully closing sales deals.

In the courier and logistics industry—whether international or domestic—Field Sales Executives play a key role in expanding the client base while ensuring continued satisfaction among existing customers. They are also responsible for gathering market intelligence and relaying valuable customer feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct client visits to present services, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Achieve monthly sales and visit targets as set by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Provide detailed reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings as needed.

Working Conditions

  • Territory-focused role requiring frequent local travel.
  • Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • May involve irregular hours based on client availability and travel schedules.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven track record in B2B field sales, preferably within logistics, courier, or transportation sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach to sales.
  • Goal-oriented with a high degree of self-motivation and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
