Job Summary: The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, meeting clients, understanding their requirements, recommending suitable products, and closing sales. The role demands a strong mix of technical product knowledge and sales skills to succeed in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities: Customer Acquisition & Business Development Prospect new clients from construction sites, workshops, mechanical shops, factories, and hardware resellers. Conduct field visits and cold calls to identify new business opportunities. Visit minimum [insert number] clients per day based on route plan. Product Presentation & Demonstration Explain features, specifications, and benefits of tools like power drills, grinders, welding tools, safety gear, etc. Conduct live demonstrations if required. Suggest suitable alternatives based on customer needs and budgets. Relationship Management Develop long-term relationships with existing clients and maintain regular follow-ups. Act as a liaison between the customer and the store regarding orders, deliveries, returns, and payments. Collect customer feedback and address concerns promptly. Sales & Revenue Targets Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets as assigned. Track sales pipeline and conversions. Submit daily/weekly reports on visits, orders booked, and follow-ups. Market Intelligence Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and new products. Share customer preferences and demand patterns with management for stock planning.
