Empaneling experts in Agriculture / Farmer Producer Organization (Sector)

Ikaai India invites applications for empanelment of experienced freelance professionals for the following positions under an Evaluation study of central sector scheme for promotion of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).

Duration of engagement: 3 months

Open Positions:

1. Sector Specialist – Sustainable Agriculture (Freelance Consultant)
Minimum Qualifications:

· Postgraduate degree in Agriculture or allied fields.

Experience:

· Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainable agriculture practices.

· Strong expertise in production techniques, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and Integrated Nutrient Management (INM).

· Experience in capacity building and field-level implementation preferred.

2. Sector Specialist – Value Chain & Marketing (Freelance Consultant)
Minimum Qualifications:

· Postgraduate degree in Agribusiness, Marketing, Rural Management, or related fields.

Experience:

· Minimum 10 years of experience in value chain development, market linkages, and agri-marketing.

· Proven track record of working with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), cooperatives, or similar institutions.

3. Content Editor (Freelance Consultant)
Minimum Qualifications:

· Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Communications, or related disciplines.

Experience:

· Minimum 4 years of experience in editing research reports, policy documents, and evaluation studies.

· Strong command of professional writing and editing standards, preferably with experience in the development sector documentation.

General Requirements for All Positions:

· Understanding of government schemes and evaluation methodologies.

· Prior experience in of evaluation of schemes related to Agriculture and allied sectors / Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) will be an added advantage.

· Willingness to travel or support fieldwork as needed.
