Job Description

Duty Medical Officer (DMO)

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage admitted patients under the supervision of consultants.
Attend to emergencies, stabilize patients, and initiate appropriate treatment protocols.
Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for timely patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure documentation of all procedures.
Perform routine ward rounds and report clinical updates to senior doctors.
Respond to patient queries and communicate treatment plans effectively.
Assist in the implementation of infection control and safety protocols.
Ensure availability and functionality of emergency equipment and medications.

Qualifications & Requirements

MBBS degree from a recognized university.
Valid Medical Council registration.
1–5 years of relevant hospital/clinical experience preferred.
Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making ability.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts including nights and weekends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
